Tagua Nut Jewellery
Beautiful & bold Tagua Nut jewellery.
Tagua (also known as Vegetable Ivory for its ivory like qualities), is a nut from a palm tree in South America and once ripe the nuts are naturally dried for a period of up to 2 years after which they become very hard and ivory like.
Once dried, Tagua nuts can be cut, shaped and dyed naturally revealing natural and unique markings.
All jewellery is ethically and sustainability handmade under fair trading policies in South America.

Hand Embroidered Belts

Beautifully hand embellished using natural dye sheeps' wool*, each belt is unique and individual and will definitely attract attention.
The belts come from an Aid to Artisans project in South America. The project supports its producers', women mainly from rural areas, to support their families and the money earned from their weaving and embroideries enables them to do this.
*a few analine shades have been used where natural options were not available

Alpaca Collection

Each of these scarves and shawls are either hand knitted or hand woven in Peru. The collection includes soft baby alpaca and naturally dyed woven alpaca.
Alpaca, a non-prickly fibre, boasts of soft, luxurious, warm qualities. It comprises of a natural resin that enables a resistance to water, pilling and bobbling.
Organic Cotton Hotdogs
A natural hot non-water bottle.
Filled with wheat and lavender, just heat in the microwave to sooth away aches and pains or simply to warm you up a cold winters day.
They are cleaner, easier to look after and smell much better than your own dog.
